Today we discuss the UN resolution against Sri Lanka over the human rights violations of the Lankan Tamils and minorities, and if India should join the international censure and pass a resolution in the parliament, as demanded by one of the main UPA government allies the DMK even as it abruptly withdraws from the ruling coalition over the issue. Prof Premananthan of DU joins us in studio. On webcam we are joined by Sirithunga, Gen Secretary of United Socialist Party, from Sri Lanka and journalist Frances Harrison joins us on webcam from London.
